Wednesday Evening 1 Car Motor Vehicle Accident

On Wednesday August 10th at about 5:32 in the evening as many Golden's Bridge FireFighters & Officers were getting ready for the Annual South Salem Fire Department Parade a call for a Motor Vehicle Accident with reports of someone trapped in the car was put out. The Golden's Bridge Fire Department along with Lewisboro EMS & Westchester EMS were dispatched to the area of 82 Waccabuc Rd for a Motor Vehicle Accident with reports of someone trapped in the car. Within in seconds Car 2141 & Rescue 25 were responding. Upon arrival of Car 2141 he found one car into a tree with a patient still in the car but the person was not trapped. Upon arrival of Rescue 25 the crew spilt up some securing the vehicle and others doing traffic control to help protect the scene. Within in minutes after dispatch Engine 140 & Engine 139 were also responding, Engine 140 upon arrival stretched a precautionary hose line which was manned by the crew and Engine 139 shut down the road at the north end of the incident. The crew of Rescue 25 & Engine 140 assisted EMS with getting the patient out of the vehicle. Then the patient was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. Golden's Bridge Fire Department was on scene for about a hour while the vehicle was removed and during that time the roadway was shut down for emergency personal safety.
