Tuesday Evening 2 Car MVA

On Tuesday August 9th at 5:10 in the evening the Golden's Bridge Fire Department along with Lewisboro Ambulance and Westchester EMS were dispatched to the area of 181 Waccabuc Rd for a Motor Vehicle Accident with Possible Injuries. After Car 2142 discovered the Motor Vehicle Accident while driving on Waccabuc Rd. Both drivers were able to get out of the vehicles on their own. One patient was taken to the local hospital for further evaluation. The other driver was evaluated at the scene but was not taken to the hospital. Golden's Bridge Fire Units were on location for about an hour while securing the vehicles and awaiting the tows. During that time the road was closed for the safety of the emergency service personnel.

After some searching by Mutual Aid FireFighter Chris Holze the rear axle was found over a 100 feet off the road in the woods.
