January 26, 2010

1-26-10 @ 0249Hrs Early Tuesday morning, members of the Goldens Bridge Fire Department responded mutual aid to Katonah for a fully involved structure fire at the Deer Park Tavern in Katonah. Upon arrival E140's crew went to work, E140 setup to draft water from the portable ponds as there are no fire hydrants in the area. Tanker 1 along with 8 additional tankers from surrounding towns shuttled water from the water source to the portable ponds providing water to the attack lines and ladder truck in operation. 10 fire departments were on location with over 100 fire fighters.
