Tuesday Evening Extrication Drill with Lewisboro VAC
By Lieutenant of Rescue Raymond Baker Jr.
April 24, 2018
On Tuesday April 24th, the Golden's Bridge FD was joined by Lewisboro VAC at the Golden's Bridge Firehouse for some joint training. The firefighters and officers from GBFD worked with members and officers of LVAC as a team practicing many different skills. Some of these skills include vehicle extrication, vehicle stabilization, lifting airbags, patient packaging and removal. The two agencies spent about 2 hours working together as one, to better serve the community. We thank LVAC for their continued support and taking time out of their schedule to come train with us! We hope to train with them again in the near future!
