Engine & Tanker Mutual Aid to Katonah 10-75

Just after noon on Tuesday April 18,2017 Golden's Bridge was requested mutual aid to Katonah for a working fire. Engine 140 and Tanker 1 were put on the assignment. Katonah Fire Department transmitted the 10-75 (Working Fire) which added Golden's Bridge Engine & Tanker, Mount Kisco Engine & FAST, South Salem Tanker, and Bedford Hills Tanker & Tower Ladder. While Golden's Bridge units were responding Somers Engine & Tanker as well as Croton Falls and Yorktown's Tankers were added to the assignment as well as South Salem Engine to the Water Source. Both Engine 140 & Tanker 1 arrived on scene at the same time. Engine 140's crew went to command for assignment and was told to report to the operations officer for further assignment. While Tanker 1 went right into doing water dumps into the ponds set up. Engine 140s crew was assigned to stand by on the front lawn. While standing by members did ventilation and opened up parts of the house from the exterior to check for fire. Golden's Bridge units were on scene for about four hours before released from the scene.
